One of the things I loved about playing at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Amherst is shaping my musical selections around a theme, usually that of the sermon. In this case, the wonderful choir director Nym Cooke proclaimed an upcoming Beatles Sunday, and mentioned I might arrange a tune I like. Blackbird has always been a song truly dear to my heart. This performance is from February, 2007.
