Philosophy and Teaching Style
For me, the joy of working with my piano students comes from getting to know the unique qualities of a student's love of music. Taking music lessons can teach us about how we relate with ourselves and the world. Learning the notes, phrasing, dynamics, and technique are all important vehicles, yet the fundamental motivation needs to be grounded in our love of music itself. My students have varying taste in music but we work to find what they enjoy!
Qualifications
• BA in Music, Haverford College
• Masters in Music, The Hartt School, University of Hartford
