Philosophy and Teaching Style
For me, the joy of working with my piano students comes from getting to know the unique qualities of a student's love of music. Taking music lessons can teach us about how we relate with ourselves and the world. Learning the notes, phrasing, dynamics, and technique are all important vehicles, yet the fundamental motivation needs to be grounded in our love of music itself. My students have varying taste in music but we work to find what they enjoy!

My daughter truly enjoys coming to her lesson with Kaeza. Kaeza clearly has a way with kids and she definitely feels it. Many times her mood is completely turned around after her lesson with you. Thank you for that as well as instilling a love for piano. Even with all of her activities, she happily makes time to practice.

My two teen age sons have been taking lessons with Kaeza Fearn. We have found Kaeza to be exceptionally wise and emotionally attentive to her students. Shortly after my boys began taking lessons with her, my younger son commented that his piano skills had improved because she has high expectations of them. Kaeza expects the boys to practice, but she isn't overly strict. She is always patient with them. I often overhear them laughing together.

We were so fortunate to have found such a talented, thoughtful and creative music instructor in Kaeza. She provides a rich musical experience for both of our daughters and enriches our lives beyond the musical experience. Since we have moved to the Boston area over six years ago, she has become an extended part of our family.
